Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Waiter to join our team at MOMO Amsterdam. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This role requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Take orders and add them to the till system, answering any questions and making recommendations based on the menu and guests' preferences.
  • Provide high-quality guest service, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring orders are accurate and properly prepared.
  • Ensure a safe dining experience for all guests by effectively communicating and addressing allergies.
  • Effectively address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Process payments from guests, including calculating bills, handling cash and credit card transactions, and making change.
  • Clean and set tables before and after customers leave, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to address guests' needs and concerns effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively with other staff members, such as chefs, barbacks, and bartenders, to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to communicate fully with guests and colleagues.
  • Availability to work in Amsterdam or nearby, with flexible commuting options.
