The Job

We are seeking a skilled waiter to join our team at MOMO Amsterdam. As a waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Taking Orders: Our waiters take guests' food and drink orders, answer questions, and make recommendations based on the menu and guests' preferences.
  • Providing Customer Service: Waiters are responsible for delivering high-quality guest service, addressing questions and concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Serving Food and Drinks: Waiters serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and proper preparation.
  • Ensuring a Safe Dining Experience: Waiters effectively communicate and address guest allergies.
  • Resolving Guest Complaints: Waiters address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handling Payments: Waiters process payments, including calculating bills, handling cash and credit card transactions, and making change.
  • Cleaning and Setting Tables: Waiters clean and set tables before and after customers leave, ensuring the dining area is clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Waiters must have strong communication skills and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Customer Service Skills: Waiters must have excellent customer service skills and address guests' needs and concerns effectively.
  • Teamwork Approach: Waiters must work effectively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • International Approach: Must be able to fully communicate in English.
  • North Holland: Living in Amsterdam or nearby (flexible with commuting).
