Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled waiter to join our team at MOMO Amsterdam. As a waiter, you will be responsible for providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. This role requires an individual who is passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Taking Orders: Waiters are responsible for taking guests' food and drink orders and adding them to the till system, answering any questions they may have, and making recommendations based on the menu/guests' preferences.
  • Providing Customer Service: Waiters are responsible for providing high-quality guest service, answering questions, resolving issues, and making sure guests have a positive dining experience.
  • Serving Food and Drinks: Waiters are responsible for serving food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that orders are accurate and properly prepared with an accurate description.
  • Ensuring a Safe Dining Experience: Waiters are responsible for effectively communicating and addressing allergies.
  • Resolving Guest Complaints: Waiters are responsible for addressing and resolving guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handling Payments: Waiters are responsible for processing payments from guests, including calculating bills, handling cash and credit card transactions, and making change.
  • Cleaning and Setting Tables: Waiters are responsible for cleaning and setting tables before and after customers leave, ensuring that the dining area is clean and organized.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Waiters must have strong communication skills and be able to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Customer Service Skills: Waiters must have excellent customer service skills and be able to address guests' needs and concerns effectively.
  • Teamwork Approach: Waiters must be able to work effectively with other staff members, such as chefs, barbacks, and bartenders, to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • International Approach: Must be able to fully communicate in English.
  • Location: Living in Amsterdam or nearby (flexible with commuting).
