Director of Engineering and Qualification - Pharma

Temp-to-Perm (6 months) - Amsterdam

Associate Director of Site Engineering and Qualification to oversee site engineering, qualification, and compliance efforts at our facility. This leadership role ensures that all engineering activities align with regulatory standards, internal policies, and operational efficiency.

You’ll be managing qualification activities for capital projects, leading engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, and ISO standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Site Engineering: Oversee infrastructure, utilities, and facility maintenance, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Qualification Oversight: Manage qualification for new/modified equipment, facilities, and systems.

Project Management: Drive capital projects and engineering improvements, ensuring timelines, budgets, and compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Quality, Operations, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless qualification processes.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure site engineering activities meet FDA, EMA, and other global standards.

Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency, quality, and safety in engineering operations.


  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related). Master’s preferred.
  • Experience: 10-12 years in engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles managing site engineering and qualification.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise in cGMP, FDA, ISO, and validation processes.
