Your role & work environment
Within the retail insurances department we are on a crossroad. A crossroad that will re-define retail insurances within ING. The first steps already have been taken, but we are on the look-out for someone that can help us take the next steps in our department. We have huge ambitions and an amazing drive within the team to put our insurance products in the spotlight for our banking customers. To do so, we are looking for someone that already has a great background in the insurance industry.
Your key responsibilitiesWorking together with colleagues having different expertise in self-steering teams.Be the insurance domain expert in the team, gaining and sharing knowledge of the insurance industry with the team.Ensuring seamless customer journeys that ensure the best possible online experience for our customers.Implementing the strategy taking ING's priorities and customer's expectations into consideration.Managing the collaboration with our current and future partners.Set up potential new collaborations.

Furthermore, you have: Master's degreeWorking in the P&C (non-life) insurance industry for +7 years, preferably within insurance companies, and therefore strong knowledge in insurance products, processes and the insurance marketSolid understanding of end-to-end product development and delivery, from developing product features, to underwriting, service and claims processesDeveloped negotiation- and stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of regulations and legislations for the insurance industryGood analytical skillsProven planning & organizational skillsHands-on and pro-active mentality in order to structure elementsAffinity with both risk and compliance related topics as well as IT related topicsFluent in Dutch and English and currently resides in the NetherlandsRewards & benefits We offer a brand-new position in a bank empowering people to develop their skills and an exciting challenge for people with an entrepreneurial attitude.
