Introduction
The work of the Heat and Mass Transfer Engineer 3 consist of defining, introducing and teaching the standards for pressure designs, selection of fluid part sets, and definition of test requirements. Do you have experience in fluid designs and you are ready for a new challenge helping MC designers and architect creating pressure compliant designs, this job is suitable for you.

Role and responsibilities
As Heat and Mass Transfer Engineer 3 competence engineer you will be responsible for translating international regulations and standards into specific safety requirements for the different stakeholders within ASML. Additionally you will define, the basic design rules for standard design features, standard vendor components sets for specific fluids and standard test requirements. Next to this you will support projects with you knowledge defining solutions for complex fluid designs. You will be part of the Fluid Infrastructure Layout and Design Competence team having cross sectoral stakeholders. Your job will require you to align with each of these stakeholders.

Some of the tasks associated with this role are:

  • Research and interpret safety regulations and standards related to pressure designs and translate them into clear requirements for ASML users.
  • Document these requirements in ASML SAF and GID documents for users.
  • Roll out the requirement to the relevant stakeholders within the organization
  • Participate in project specifications and design reviews and where necessary advise projects on the best solution.
  • Generate training programs to ensure that sufficient pressure design knowledge is embedded in the project teams
  • Train new recruits on the ASML pressure requirements and rules Define test requirements for introduction of new fluid vendor components

Education & Experience:

  • 5-10 years+ experience within a fluid designs
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards (e.g. NEN/IEC, OSHA, ISO) Bachelor level.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
