Gen AI Business Development Manager - EMEA North

Solution Sales at ServiceNow is embarking on a journey of innovation to elevate our go-to-market strategy, delight customers, and drive our growth to new heights. With our cutting-edge Gen AI capabilities, our expansion is accelerating, and we are seeking Business Development Managers to capitalize on this groundbreaking opportunity and spearhead our Gen AI initiatives.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing Gen AI strategies alongside sales leadership. Your role will involve implementing initiatives that enhance the market performance of ServiceNow's Gen AI products. Collaborating closely with Major Area leaders, you will define and implement Go-To-Market priorities for Gen AI across the ServiceNow Platform.

In this position, you will lead cross-functional efforts to drive strategic initiatives, elevate Gen AI expertise within the team, and engage with key accounts. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in sales leadership, business development, and strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of Gen AI knowledge and sales acumen to swiftly drive actions and deliver tangible outcomes.

The perfect candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of exceeding quotas in dynamic sales environments, especially with emerging technologies. Outstanding leadership, integrity, coaching skills, executive presence, and a collaborative spirit are essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies at a regional level in collaboration with various functional leaders.
  • Align priorities and objectives with Major Area leadership, contributing to the Gen AI forecast and pipeline.
  • Support a global team of Gen AI specialists through knowledge-sharing and best practice sharing.
  • Establish a collaborative model with partners and channels to drive Gen AI sales in your designated territory.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide valuable insights to product teams and leadership.
  • Coach teams on identifying specialized sales opportunities and managing the sales process effectively.
  • Work across functions to design and execute the Gen AI sales strategy across all product workflows and geographies.
  • Drive best sales practices, including reference accounts, demand generation activities, and partner engagement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and leader within the team, engaging with customers at the executive level to ensure successful deals.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience in Gen AI sales, specializing in Gen AI capabilities, with a minimum of 10 years in sales or related roles.
  • Proven track record in technical consultative selling, account management, or sales strategy, preferably in large software companies.
  • Strong skills in managing complex customer relationships and engaging at the C-suite level.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing team quotas consistently.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales techniques, customer interactions, and relationship building.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in business development, strategic planning, and collaborating with VP-level executives.
  • Ability to navigate complex opportunities and maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, humility, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for business requirements.
