We will take you through from start to finish and explain the basics of what the profession entails and what goes on behind the scenes. During your internship you will be working with the meeting and events teams to plan the events taking place at our hotels on a daily basis to truly understand the world of events.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE IN THE MEETING & EVENTS TEAM? Meeting & Events is of course about bringing in business and planning the events in our hotels and as an intern you will contribute to this. You will start with an extensive training period and during your internship you will get to know the hotels and we will introduce you to the meeting and events profession. At Leonardo Hotels, we care about YOU We are therefore happy to coach you on your personal development and guide you with your thesis. This also includes giving you a day every week to fully devote to your thesis, because a good work-life balance is important.

During this internship, no week is the same The activities you perform are diverse, from organizing client events, to supporting the meeting and events teams in the broadest sense of the word. Furthermore, you will be involved in various projects, various administrative tasks and you will be involved in continuing to improve the meetings & events department. But your personal wishes are just as important: You are therefore given all the space you need, for example, to spend a day with someone or to set up a project or development yourself.

GET TO KNOW THE TAILOR MADE TRAINEESHIP PROGRAMFor the ambitious hotelier of the future is the Tailor Made Traineeship (TMT) at Leonardo Hotels the place to be Do you see your internship as the start of a career within the hospitality? At Leonardo Hotels your internship matches your interests, wishes and talents. As an intern, regardless of the department or hotel, you are automatically registered for the TMT program ). You can take a look at different hotels and departments; attending expert sessions in topics such as Marketing and Finance; be motivated and coached by your personal coach; develop your personal leadership skills and (perhaps most importantly) get to know all the other HBO interns through our organized TMT classes and social gatherings

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU (ADDITIONAL TO A GREAT TEAM)?As a HBO student you will receive an internship fee based on €750,- gross per month fulltime, which consists of a €650,- internship fee and an €80,- expense fee. We use variable payment periods of 4 or 5 weeks at a time, according to the number of days and hours worked. So one month you will get a little less and the next month a little more.
