Functie
Als Tech Lead, leid jij een team van Software Engineers in een Agile werkomgeving. Naast het opleveren van de sprint doelen, ben je verantwoordelijk voor het welzijn van jouw team als geheel. Je helpt en coacht de teamleden met hun persoonlijke en technisch-inhoudelijke ontwikkeling, en bent een leider die ze willen volgen. Ongeveer 50% van de tijd ben je bezig met software development op een senior niveau, en 50% van de tijd ben je bezig met het begeleiden van je team. Door jouw leiderschap en begeleiding worden alle teamleden beter, waardoor het team sneller betere software levert. Jij en jouw team richten zich op het bouwen aan ons platform Select / Striive, dat binnen de flexibele arbeidsmarkt zelfstandig professionals en leveranciers samenbrengt met opdrachtgevers. Als Tech Lead ligt jouw focus op analyseren, het verbeteren van bestaande functionaliteiten en het opleveren van nieuwe functionaliteiten.
- Op hoog niveau analyses uitvoert en software ontwerpt voor nieuwe en bestaande systemen en inschattingen maakt voor hoeveelheid werk en risico's. Observaties tijdens de analyse worden door jou omgezet in aanbevelingen voor verbeteringen.
- Gebruik maakt van industrie standaard programmeertechnieken om requirements en designs te vertalen naar code.
- Software bouwt, test en documenteert met een sterk gevoel voor eigenaarschap.
- Samen met je team automatische tests implementeert en systeem-, performance- en acceptatietesten uitvoert en de testdata uitbreidt.
- Assisteert bij het opstellen van requirements door samen te werken met de Productmanager en andere ontwikkelaars.
- Bijdraagt aan architectuurbeoordelingen en aanbevelingen.
Je werkt met een uitdagende technology stack, met als basis Java (11, 17 en 21). De twee belangrijkste onderdelen van je werk zijn het meebouwen aan ons platform en het coachen van het team. Het is een grote pre als je ook kunt meedenken met de andere seniors / leads op het gebied van architectuur en devops.
