G4S zet zich in voor mens, milieu en maatschappij en heeft jouw hulp daarbij nodig
Ben jij iemand die geïnteresseerd is in duurzaamheid en maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen? De functie
Jouw inzet draagt direct bij aan het Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) beleid van G4S: 'There for our people, environment and communities'. Als sustainability stagiair is geen dag hetzelfde. Je komt in contact met mensen van verschillende afdelingen binnen de organisatie. Bijvoorbeeld met collega's die met of bij klanten werken of met collega's op onze trainingslocaties. Je werkt aan individuele, maar ook gezamenlijke projecten.
Een greep uit de dagelijkse projecten die je kan oppakken:
opzetten en implementeren van MVO projecten;
ondersteunen bij het behalen van onze MVO doelstellingen;
in- en externe communicatie om ons MVO beleid uit te dragen;
maandelijks overleg bijwonen met de werkgroep mens, milieu en maatschappij;
coördineren van overige duurzame projecten.
Kom je tijdens jouw stageperiode op een goed idee met betrekking tot MVO? Dan horen wij dit graag. Wij waarderen namelijk eigen initiatief, waarbij er altijd ruimte is om jouw idee zelfstandig op te pakken en indien haalbaar uit te rollen tot een succesvol project. Uiteraard word je, waar nodig, ondersteund door jouw collega's.
De werkplek
Als sustainability stagiair ben je flexibel. Je werkt thuis en op het hoofdkantoor in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, maar natuurlijk kun je ook naar één van onze andere locaties. Werken bij G4S betekent een hands-on-mentaliteit. Iedereen in de organisatie is benaderbaar, van mede-stagiair tot directielid. Daarnaast is er ruimte voor ontwikkeling en het opdoen van externe kennis. Tot slot is het bijwonen van een beurs over bijvoorbeeld sociaal inkopen en het bezoeken van een duurzaamheidsevent ook een onderdeel van jouw stage.
Je bent een derde-/vierdejaars hbo-student met een management opleiding, bijvoorbeeld Facility Management, Bedrijfskunde, Commerciële Economie en Business Studies, maar als je denkt dat jij ook in dit plaatje past, kun je altijd reageren.
Je bent communicatief sterk, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar ook in teamverband.
Een proactieve houding en je houdt ervan als iedere dag anders is.

Stagevergoeding van 425,- euro bruto per maand op basis van 40 uur per week.
