Global Supply Planning Director

Your Role:

  • Lead regional supply planning operations to ensure product supply reliability and flexibility, driving operational excellence and risk management.
  • Set and align supply planning directions and processes in line with the S&OP framework and planning principles.
  • Drive breakthrough initiatives and problem-solving improvements with key stakeholders to deliver operational performance for the value streams.
  • Manage effective phase-in and phase-out processes throughout the product life cycle to assure availability and inventory flow.
  • Contribute to setting standards for best-in-class systems, tools, and processes for supply planning.

  • The Integrated Supply Chain organization and reports to the Head of Integrated Planning. This jobholder will be managing supply planning in the region of Europe and America to achieve supply chain excellence for global markets.

You're the Right Fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in the supply chain related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in supply chain-related functions.
  • Highly knowledgeable with practical experience in S&OP process, preferably covering supply planning.
  • Customer mindset and e2e integrated thinking, with strong networking skills.
  • Strong leadership with people management experience ​

Role Description:

  • Manage supply planning operations to ensure regional product supply reliability and flexibility to deliver Customer Service Level ambition via driving operational excellence, including risk management.
  • Lead regional supply sites towards integrated planning directions & executions in line with global standards.
  • Set & align supply planning directions and processes in line with S&OP framework and planning principles.
  • Run effective S&OP assessing short long term demand supply and e2e inventory balancing, building scenarios and driving trade-off decisions.
  • As a strong partner with key stakeholders e2e to drive breakthrough initiatives and problem-solving improvements, sustained across value streams with structured change management.
  • Develop & guide planning teams to be customer-centric and collaborate e2e to deliver operational performance for the value streams.
  • Ensure supply planning is performed in the system with quality data input and planning on exceptions making use of system capabilities.
  • Deliver supply chain KPIs connecting lagging & leading indicators e2e with balanced trade-offs.
  • Drive operations in flow and identify disruptions for structural improvements.
  • Manage effective phase-in phase-out process throughout the product life cycle to assure availability and inventory in flow.
  • Control master data quality assuring in line with the governance framework and planning policies to avoid planning disruptions.
  • Drive suppliers' operational excelling performance & active cooperation in supply chain initiatives to deliver customer value.
  • Sense & manage risks ahead or prompt reaction to the fast-changing external dynamics, create clear visibility of mitigation plan and engage stakeholders to drive countermeasures & decisions with speed.
  • Guide & orchestrate across parties in times of critical supply situations and provide holistic communications to stakeholder management.
  • Oversee process & collaboration e2e with clear roles & responsibilities to ensure delivering the true value, avoiding silos.
  • Support decision of supply planning excellence program & priorities, lead change and drive adoption in integrated planning.
  • Contribute to setting standards driving best-in-class systems, tools & processes for supply planning.
  • Guard planning principles and corresponding processes to ensure adoption and review based on latest dynamics with update done in a controlled manner.
  • Enforce digital transformation driving the development & use of global analytics tools for planning & performance reviews.
  • Develop team competence building capability to lead & collaborate e2e and build succession in place.
