My client, one of the world's leading financial services advisory firms, is looking to hire a Senior Associate/VP to join their generalist M&A team based in Amsterdam.

As a key member of this dynamic and collaborative team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing M&A transactions across a diverse range of industries, while also contributing to business development initiatives and client relationships.

As a key member of this elite team you will:

  • Lead and execute high-profile M&A transactions across a variety of industries, both domestically and internationally.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation assessments to support deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and strategy experts, to drive successful deal outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals to identify new business opportunities and expand our market presence.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance, with a proven track record of executing complex transactions.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in conducting comprehensive due diligence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Strong preference for prior experience with a Nordic coverage sector.
