Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to oversee quality operations and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Your objectives:

As the Director of Quality, you will be measured against the following objectives:

  1. Ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness for global healthcare standards.
  2. Lead quality oversight, implementing strategic improvement initiatives and driving business efficiency.
  3. Coach and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


What you will do:

As the Director of Quality, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee regulatory inspections, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA CFR 820.
  • Act as the PRRC (Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance) for Medical Devices.
  • Lead the site Quality Project improvement portfolio to enhance business continuity.
  • Manage strategic projects and ensure alignment with profit planning.
  • Drive quality improvements through standardised methodologies and best practices.
  • Coach and develop a team of Improvement Engineers, Product Management Review Officers, and a Site Lead Auditor.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) legislation.


What you will bring:

These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Director of Quality:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality management within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Expertise in sterile and non-sterile manufacturing, combination products, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and strategic business transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch proficiency is preferred or a willingness to learn.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
