Are you an experienced payroll and compensation specialist looking for an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a fantastic global organisation? This temporary assignment is ideal for someone with strong international payroll expertise who can quickly step into a HR operations role within a fast-moving semiconductor environment. The position is a 6–7-month contract covering a leave of absence, with responsibility for supporting multiple European entities.The CompanyA global technology organisation supporting major semiconductor customers across Europe. With ongoing expansion and a growing HR footprint, the company requires short-term support to maintain high-quality payroll, benefits, and HR operations during a period of internal absence. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative HR function in a high-tech setting and take ownership of payroll and associated activities from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process payroll across multiple European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and SwitzerlandWork with HQ teams on assignee payroll and global payroll reportingPartner with Finance on payroll reconciliation and support internal and external auditsAdminister global employee benefits programmes and flexible benefitsOversee benefits-related processes across all supported countriesManage relocation processes for new international hires, collaborating with mobility teams and external partnersSupport or lead system updates, such as time-and-attendanceContribute to HR infrastructure development and selected global HR projectsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor-level education or equivalent experienceStrong experience in international payroll processingDetail-oriented, analytical, and confident working with ExcelFluent in English; Dutch or German is a plusStrong communication and stakeholder-management skillsFlexible, proactive, and comfortable supporting broader HR tasksAvailable to start in January or potentially sooner.Contract Details6–7-month temporary contractOn-site role based in Amsterdam Full-time working hours
