Payroll & Benefits Specialist / HR Generalist

Are you an experienced payroll and compensation specialist looking for an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a fantastic global organisation? This temporary assignment is ideal for someone with strong international payroll expertise who can quickly step into a HR operations role within a fast-moving semiconductor environment. The position is a 6–7-month contract covering a leave of absence, with responsibility for supporting multiple European entities. With ongoing expansion and a growing HR footprint, the company requires short-term support to maintain high-quality payroll, benefits, and HR operations during a period of internal absence. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative HR function in a high-tech setting and take ownership of payroll and associated activities from day one. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process payroll across multiple European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland Work with HQ teams on assignee payroll and global payroll reporting Partner with Finance on payroll reconciliation and support internal and external audits Administer global employee benefits programmes and flexible benefits Oversee benefits-related processes across all supported countries Manage relocation processes for new international hires, collaborating with mobility teams and external partners Support or lead system updates, such as time-and-attendance Contribute to HR infrastructure development and selected global HR projects What We're Looking For Bachelor-level education or equivalent experience Strong experience xfgnyzt in international payroll processing Detail-oriented, analytical, and confident working with Excel Fluent in English; Dutch or German is a plus Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills Flexible, proactive, and comfortable supporting broader HR tasks Available to start in January or potentially sooner.
