Voor deze functie zijn wij op zoek naar de gedreven en bovenal bedreven software engineer met uiteenlopende kennis en ervaring op het gebied van machineaansturing, meet- en regeltechniek en programmeerervaring.

Functieomschrijving

Als Technical Support Engineer ben je het aanspreekpunt voor technische vraagstukken van onze klanten over onze besturingsoplossingen en bijbehorende software voor machines. Het betreft veelal actuele, operationele en technische vraagstukken van met name internationale klanten.

Je staat de klant te woord, analyseert het vraagstuk en draagt binnen korte tijd oplossingen aan. Kortom, je bent verantwoordelijk voor adequate technische ondersteuning en geeft gedegen advies.

Voor complexe vraagstukken kun je op ondersteuning rekenen van je collega’s van de afdeling ontwikkeling. Samen zorgen jullie voor de innovatieve oplossingen.

Binnen de afdeling Technical Support geef je ook technische ondersteuning aan de accountmanagers, verzorg je samen met je collega’s trainingen en opleiding van klanten en verzorg je mede de technische documentatie. Je biedt on-site ondersteuning bij klanten en je neemt met het team deel aan internationale beurzen. Op het gebied van productontwikkeling denk je mee over voorstellen voor nieuwe functionaliteit en nieuwe producten.

Functie eisen

Je bent als engineer pro-actief, ambitieus en succesvol, en hebt een sterke affiniteit met het oplossen van technische problemen.

Overige vereisten voor de succesvolle invulling van deze functie zijn:

-          Afgeronde HBO/TU opleiding, technische richting (voorkeur elektronica, informatica, ICT of computer science & engineering).

-          Programmeerervaring in bijvoorbeeld C, C++, Pascal, Java, HTML, Python, Perl, LUA of PLC’s

-          Werkervaring (3-6 jaar) als (software-)engineer, binnen een technisch hoogwaardige werkomgeving, waarbij oplossingsgericht denken voorop staat.

-          Ervaren en bedreven in het gestructureerd werken en documenteren.

-          Enige werkervaring in een technische/commerciële functie/rol is een voorwaarde.

-          Bekend met en succesvol in het leggen en onderhouden van internationale contacten.

-          Je blijft immer up-to-date met betrekking tot de ontwikkeling van de Delem-software en de bijbehorende functionaliteiten.

-          Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift. Kennis van de Duitse en enige kennis van de Franse taal zijn een pré.

-          Goede sociale vaardigheden, communicatief vaardig en representatief. Kortom, prettig in de omgang.
