We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar team and elevate our guest experience. Within Bar The Tailor, everything is ‘Tailor’ made. As bar manager, you will work together with the team to create innovative drink menu while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service;
Develop and implement innovative beverage programs, including signature cocktails;
Hire, train, and manage a team of bartenders;
Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency;
Maintain good relationship with the chefs of Anantara Krasnapolsky and on a regular basis evaluate how to improve the food offering;
Responsible for profit and revenue of the bar and achieving yearly budget
Assuring training and development of (new) team members based on LQA service- & emotional intelligence standards
Monitoring and managing hygiene, safety and grooming standards
Cooperative in managing events within Bar The Tailor as well as in hotel culinary events
Making sure to maintain and support the image of the bar within the (international) hospitality industry
Supports & manages bartender competitions within the bar team by following hotel guidelines
Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings;
Supervising the preparation & quality of the drinks and serving them;

The location of Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam marks the heart of the Dutch capital as it overlooks the Royal Palace and National Monument on Dam Square. The hotel also houses the award-winning cocktail bar The Tailor and the modern elegant Grand Café Krasnapolsky.

Experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-end establishment.
In-depth knowledge of mixology, spirits, and wine.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to motivate your team.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a plus.
