Lead Electrical Designer – Offshore Wind / Oil & Gas

#We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Designer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team working on long-term projects in both the offshore wind and offshore oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate has a solid background in detailed electrical design and is capable of taking ownership of the full electrical design scope within complex engineering projects.

Lead the electrical design scope for offshore greenfield projects and HV substations.
Develop, manage, and ensure timely delivery of all electrical design deliverables.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, instrumentation, planning, weight control, etc.).
Review and provide input into the 3D model in collaboration with the 3D design team (Navisworks).
Develop and review data sheets and requisition packages for electrical equipment (e.g., Minimum of 3 years’ experience with an engineering company.
