Profile Lead & Senior Instrumentation Engineer Are you an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with expertise in control systems and instrumentation? We are looking for both a Lead and Senior Instrumentation Engineer to contribute to innovative offshore infrastructure, ensuring high‑quality, efficient, and safe instrumentation solutions. As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will guide a team of engineers, oversee complex projects, and ensure technical excellence. As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation systems for offshore and energy applications. Tasks & responsibilities: For Lead Instrumentation Engineer: Lead and manage a team of instrumentation engineers, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution. Develop instrumentation design strategies and oversee implementation across multiple offshore projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for instrumentation design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and client requirements. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the instrumentation engineering team. Optimise instrumentation solutions for efficiency, safety, and long‑term reliability. For Senior Instrumentation Engineer: Design and implement control & instrumentation systems for offshore platforms, substations, and energy projects. Prepare instrumentation deliverables, including loop diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules, and specifications. Select and specify field instruments, valves, and automation components. Ensure compliance with IEC, ATEX, and other industry components. Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. Collaborate with lead engineers, project teams, and vendors to ensure seamless integration. Requirements Lead & Senior Instrumentation Engineer Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering. Experience: Lead: Minimum 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Senior: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems. Strong background in offshore platform design, HV substations, and energy infrastructure projects. Experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and SIS systems in industrial applications. Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) and other relevant design tools. Knowledge of IEC, ATEX, API, and NORSOK standards. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills. For Lead role: Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
