Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a proactive, assertive, take-charge person to join our company as General Manager for the division in the Netherlands.
- Faithfully executing the business plans, achieving planned P&L objectives of the division in the Netherlands. Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team in the Netherlands accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
- Resolves issues effectively seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
- Ensures the leadership team in the Netherlands is healthy, functional, and cohesive. Ensures that everyone is truly following, and adhering to, the company's core processes and operating system with consistency
- Dependably demonstrates a relentless obsession with executing with excellence, values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.
- Effectively collaborates with the stakeholders confirming key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization.
- Being a cultural carrier by enabling/supporting employee engagement and retention for team in the Netherlands.
Qualifications:
- Citizenship or Work Permit is required.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) preferred – preferably in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related subject.
- Minimum 8 years of sales, marketing, or other commercial business experience, with 3 years or above at managerial position - preferably in the world of branded, premium furnishings sold to trade clients (interior designers and corporations) as well as directly to end-users.
- Demonstrated competency in driving B2C sales/marketing, and the management/development of 3rd party distributors.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; proficiency in Chinese for work communication is a plus.
