We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our new European distribution center. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high service standards, and contributing to our continued growth across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a diverse team, cultivating a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, inbound/outbound logistics, and order fulfilment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate order processing, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout Europe.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and safety of the Rotterdam facility, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the facility and ensuring smooth coordination with stakeholders.
  • Utilising warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Upholding the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring a secure working environment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment, manage shipping to agreed standards, and effectively resolve customer complaints.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse personnel, facilitating a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee receiving, storage, dispatch, and maintenance, leveraging WMS and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enforce health and safety policies, conduct regular checks, manage hazardous materials, and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Implement effective stock control, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accurate stock transactions.
  • Streamline processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage courier relationships to improve service delivery.
  • Conduct quality checks, ensure accurate order picking and packing, and adhere to customer dispatch requirements.
  • Develop and implement systems to improve operational efficiency, housekeeping, and safety standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews, probation reviews, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
  • Manage warehouse layout, adjust storage solutions to meet changing demands, and support customer returns and warranty processes.

We Are Seeking Candidates With:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and developing teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems (experience with BC365 is highly advantageous).
  • A thorough understanding of European health and safety regulations.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., forklift license).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A good level of education, and relevant qualifications.
