**The role of Hostel Night Team Member is just as important at the day shift, you will be meeting guests who are tired after a long days travelling, chatting to guests who have come back from THE BEST night out in Amsterdam or saying goodbye to our early leavers heading off on their next adventure. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is looking for part time work and enjoys working the overnight shift (we know you're out there night owls HOOT HOOT)

Supported by the team from other departments as well as the Night Team Leader your overall responsibility is to ensure that guests get greeted with the same vibe as they would if they were in the hostel during the day. This means working in the café, helping guests with check in/out, checking the vibe in the social spaces are chill, closing out an outstanding tasks handed over by the day shift and supporting our security team with any issues.

**What will I be doing?**
Some of your key responsibilities are:

- Successfully run the overnight shift with support of the wider hostel team by answering any guest queries, helping with check-ins, serving guests who are looking for late night munchies at our café
- Ensure that the hostel social spaces are presented in their best light overnight
- Complete any admin tasks handed over from the day shift but ensuring that the guests in the hostel are priority
- Be guest focused listen to the needs of the guest.
- Live our values of Guest, In-Tune, Dedication and Difference through your behaviours
- Be open, brave and learn everyday but most of all have fun while doing it

**Who are you?**
**You are someone who has travelled and can relate to our guests, who is not afraid to be brave or to be the best you can be. Previous experience working the night shift within hospitality is desirable but not essential. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure (we promise you won't be bored). You are fun, energetic, are open to new challenges and can seek solutions to our guest queries. The ability to speak fluent Dutch for this role is not essential but a bonus however an intermediate level of English is required for the role.
