**Who are you?**
- Helping guests puts a big smile on your face. The ‘always a pleasure’ mentality is second nature for you, and you are happy go the extra mile for our guests;
- You have a technical background and work experience in this field. Experience in a hotel or service environment is a plus;
- You enjoy managing and motivating a team. You are an example in the field of technical knowledge and service orientation;
- You have a flexible attitude and you keep an overview in hectic situations;
- You like to roll up your sleeves, take initiative, and are flexible in terms of working days/times and breakdown services.

**What are you going to do?**
As Assistant Maintenance Manager you support the Maintenance Manager and you are jointly responsible for all technical aspects within the hotel. This varies from solving malfunctions to carrying out repairs and maintenance on installations, energy supplies, sanitary facilities, and lighting. You motivate and enthuse team members to get the best out of themselves, you prepare rosters, and you give instructions regarding electrical and mechanical aspects.

You also manage maintenance contacts with external companies regarding malfunctions in lifts, air conditioning, cooling and sprinkler installations. You are responsible for the periodic inspections, checks and maintenance/cleaning work on equipment, and the renovations. You monitor compliance with the regulations in the field of safety, working conditions, HACCP and work and presentation methods.
