**Job description**:
As a Brand Manager, you are responsible for developing and implementing brand management plans to position and increase the brand awareness of the assigned brands: GoodShipping and GoodZero. You work closely with the marketing colleagues in different divisions to ensure that the plans are well aligned. You closely monitor market developments and share your market knowledge with the team. This includes conducting market analyses, brand assortments, and competition, and developing proposals for the use of new marketing mix tools based on market and consumer trends. Your knowledge of the market and the usefulness of your analyses and findings are crucial for the success of this position.

In addition, you are responsible for developing brand plans that support the positioning and profiling of GoodShipping and GoodZero, in line with the company's strategic plan, budget, and marketing calendar. You determine goals, sub-plans, methods, and resources for implementation and coordinate these plans in execution.

When executing the approved plans, you determine the necessary activities and allocate the required resources. You collaborate with digital and content experts from the marketing team and occasionally with external agencies to successfully execute the plans. You strive for optimal brand value, where the brand image aligns with the overall corporate identity. You plan creative and commercial initiatives focused on the specific brand and develop concepts and promotional activities for each distribution channel.

The role of Brand Manager falls within the Marketing & Communication team, which consists of 12 colleagues. In this role, you report directly to the Head of Marketing & Communication.

In addition, you bring the following characteristics:

- You have at least five years of work experience as a Brand Marketer or a comparable function;
- You have at least a bachelor's degree (HBO);
- It is a bonus if you have B2B experience;
- You are fluent in English;
- You have an intrinsic motivation to contribute to the energy transition;
- You don't mind working at the office in Amsterdam and/or Rotterdam and occasionally from home;
- You are available for 32-40 hours per week.
