This approach has successfully ensured that Taster can offer its customers quality food, designed for delivery, without compromise.

The business has enjoyed 100%+ YoY growth on average over the last 3 years and has reached break-even in Q1 2024. With a unique, highly scalable business model and enviable unit economics (well above industry standards), Taster has reached over €100m in GMV in January 2024.

Operating within the global online food delivery market that is expected to be worth $365 billion by 2030 and backed by Tier-1 investors, including Octopus Ventures, Local Globe, Heartcore Capital, Rakuten, and Battery Ventures, Taster has raised $50m to date to support its ambitious growth ambitions with significant untapped opportunity remaining.

**Context and Market location**

The potential of the Benelux market is vast. This area includes **:the Netherlands**, **Belgium Flanders Region **and **Luxembourg**.

We have a lot of opportunities to seize, and you will play a big part in this new chapter. We have big ambitions and are looking for someone with the same hunger.
The role is based in our Amsterdam office. Still, it is expected to travel three to four days a week to identify new sites and potential franchise operators in their local market or at expos and trade shows where we will promote Taster’s franchising opportunities.

**Your responsibilities
- Conduct on-the-ground market research to identify expansion opportunities and target locations.
- Develop and implement strategies for recruiting new franchisees.
- Attend franchise expos, trade shows, and other events to network and promote franchise opportunities.
- Manage Franchisee recruitment process, including marketing, initial contact, interviews, and selection.
- Screen potential franchisees to ensure they meet Taster qualifications and standards.
- Coordinate and conduct discovery days for prospective franchisees.
- Assist in the preparation and review of franchise disclosure documents.
- Manage the franchise training programs for new franchisees, including initial training, ongoing support, and refresher courses.
- Assist franchisees in developing business plans and financial models.
- Assist in developing and enforcing brand standards and identity across all franchise locations.
- To be able to anticipate obstacles and make sure necessary measures are put in place to minimise their effect
- Ensure that franchise marketing and promotional materials are in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Ensure all franchise agreements and documentation comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate with legal advisors to update franchise documents and agreements as necessary.
- Ensure franchisees comply with brand standards and operating procedures.

**Is it really for me ?**
- Previous experience in franchise development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the QSR industry.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting and onboarding franchisees.
- Ability to conduct market research and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Fluent in English and Dutch; French is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel across various cities
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry (independent or chain restaurants, catering, hotel): understanding their challenges, constraints, potential, and organisation is a plus.
- Familiarity with franchise laws and regulations.
- A no-nonsense approach to getting things done and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- Personable, with an ability to get potential Franchisees to work ever more closely with Taster.
- Resourcefulness means moving things forward systematically, even with limited resources or information.
- Ambitious to make things happen independently and through collaboration.
- Driven by results, you have a passion for revenue growth.
- Hardworking and unafraid to take on new tasks.
