MSC Nederland helpt klanten al sinds begin 1980 om vracht naar en vanuit Nederland te vervoeren. Op de dag van vandaag verscheept MSC (Nederland) meer dan een miljoen TEU aan vracht per jaar Dit gebeurt voornamelijk vanuit onze terminals in Rotterdam welke wij met meer dan 400 collega’s elke dag ondersteunen vanuit ons kantoor, gevestigd in hartje Rotterdam. Om dit team te versterken, zijn wij op zoek naar:
**Cargo Operations Employee op de Operations afdeling**

**Wat houdt de functie in?**

De Cargo Operations Employee is verantwoordelijk voor het beheren, consolideren en optimaliseren van vrachtstromen. Je bent het belangrijkste aanspreekpunt voor Rotterdamse deepsea terminals, interne stakeholders, centrale planners en MSC-agentschappen. Je zorgt voor een feilloze afhandeling van operationele taken om onze klanten de hoogste kwaliteit service te bieden.

**Wat ga je precies doen?**
- Coördineren van alle vrachtstromen waaronder: import, export, transhipment en leeggoed. Onderhouden van proforma verbindingen en monitoren van de haalbaarheid ervan op basis van het live berthing plan voor zowel door MSC gecontroleerde diensten, partnerdiensten als commerciële shortsea-diensten.
- Optimaliseer vrachtroutering en toewijzing op schepen op de meest efficiënte manier. Houd MSC Genève en het lokale management op de hoogte van potentiële risico's, kansen en kosten en doe suggesties die het besluitvormingsproces kunnen helpen.
- Rapporteer en monitor de terminalvoorraad, beschikbaarheid van ruimte en vrachtgereedheid, inclusief containerpositionering tussen Deepsea-terminals, rekening houdend met het meest efficiënte scenario.
- Aanleveren van laad-/losbestanden aan de Deepsea terminals en centrale planners. Zorg voor maximalisatie van schepen en neem waar nodig corrigerende maatregelen om downfall te mínimaliseren. Coördineer acties tussen terminal, scheepsplanningscentra, VSA-partners, klantenservice, eigenaar van exportzendingen en MSC-agentschappen.
- Laad
- en loslijsten afstemmen op terminalbevestiging na vertrek van het schip en discrepanties controleren, d.w.z. over land, kort aangevoerd, korte zendingen. Onderzoek redenen voor discrepanties en update opmerkingen in systemen.

- Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en je spreekt vloeiend de Engelse taal.

Een verantwoordelijke baan voor vijf dagen in de week met een 38,75-urige werkweek.
