**De afdeling**

Preparation engineers maken het mogelijk om Scania trucks als bouwpakket naar onze productie centra te verschepen. Deze orders gaan de hele wereld over en wordt in landen als Zuid-Afrika, Taiwan en India geassembleerd tot complete Scania truck. Dit belangrijke logistieke proces noemen wij knockdown (KD). De preparation engineers zorgen ervoor dat het knockdown proces goed kan verlopen. Dit begint met de juiste informatie in de systemen. Data moet 100% kloppen, denk aan productinformatie maar ook aan onderdelenlijsten die we meesturen met de orders. Het bouwpakket is immers 3 maanden onderweg naar onze overzeese klanten en we streven ernaar om altijd 100% kwaliteit en volledigheid te garanderen. Doordat onze trucks continu worden voorzien van nieuwe toepassingen, krijg je op deze afdeling veel inhoudelijke kennis over Scania trucks en bussen.

**Wat ga jij in deze functie doen?**

Als groupleader stuur jij een team van 9 preparation engineers aan. Je faciliteert deze experts bij het goed uitvoeren van onze staande KD processen. De specifieke verantwoordelijkheid van jouw afdeling is het fundament voor het succes van diverse operationele afdelingen. Je rapporteert aan de Head Logistic Center Support. Jij bent als onderdeel van het Product Engineering Team ook globaal betrokken (met collega’s uit Zweden, Frankrijk en Brazilië) bij de verdere verbetering en ontwikkeling van de product structuur.

**Een greep uit je takenpakket**:

- Organiseren van capaciteit en middelen zodat werkzaamheden en projecten juist worden uitgevoerd;
- Bewaken en borgen van de afdelingsdoelstellingen (KPI’s) en het continu verbeteren;
- Begeleiden van veranderingen in systemen en procedures.

**Dit ben jij**:
Jij bent communicatief sterk, een verbinder en iemand met interesse voor details die zijn/haar drive haalt uit het verhogen van kwaliteit. Door jouw bedrijfskundige inzicht in processen ben jij snel in staat om gedetailleerde informatie te vertalen en om te zetten naar het proces. Jij weet hoofd
- en bijzaken goed te onderscheiden. Als persoon zou jij jezelf kunnen omschrijven als enthousiast, toegankelijk en harmonieus. Iemand die goed kan luisteren en oprecht interesse heeft voor anderen. Jij denkt en handelt vanuit de inhoud en bent analytisch sterk. Als leidinggevende heb jij een duidelijke visie en hiermee bepaal je koers en richting aan de afdeling.

**Hoe ziet de ideale kandidaat eruit?**
- Afgeronde hbo Bachelor opleiding (bijv. Bedrijfskunde, Engineering, Logistiek);
- Leidinggevende ervaring;
- Aantoonbare affiniteit met werkvoorbereiding, assemblage
- of product structuren;
- Affiniteit en begrip van het werken met IT systemen;
- Goede communicatieve vaardigheden zowel in Nederlands als Engels
