**ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT**:
**Organisational setting**:
The post of Agent - Project Support can be part of any Unit within Europol.
**Purpose of the post**:
The Agent - Project Support will play a key role in supporting Project Managers and project teams in the administration, preparation, planning, co-ordination, implementation, control and evaluation of projects and initiatives.
This role may also be performed in the framework of projects funded by external assigned revenue.
**Reporting lines**:
The incumbent will report to a (Senior) Specialist and/or Head of Unit/Department.
**FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES**
The incumbent carries out the following main functions and duties:
- Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities;
- Contribute to the drafting of projects reports;
- Maintain and update project documentation, files, and records;
- Prepare and distribute documents such as agendas, communication materials and presentations;
- Compile management information; track and monitor timelines and collect, check and validate information, documentation and data;
- Update information on internal and external websites;
- Handle routine inquiries regarding project activities and progress;
- Schedule and help organise project-related meetings and events;
- Carry out general support activities and make logístical arrangements;
- Perform any other duty in the area of competence as assigned by line management.
The functions and duties may also be associated with a project funded by external assigned revenue. In the case of a project funded by external assigned revenue, the duties would be of a limited duration in time.
**FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES**:
**REQUIREMENTS - ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union and enjoy full rights as a citizen;
- Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws on military service;
- Produce appropriate character references as to his or her suitability for the performance of the duties;
- Produce evidence of a thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the Union to the extent necessary for the performance of the duties.
- Have a level of post-secondary education attested by a diploma. When the official duration of the post-secondary education is less than 3 years, the difference shall be deducted from the professional experience as indicated below:

- More than 1 year and up to 2 years - 2 years
- More than 2 years - 1 year
**OR**
- Have a level of secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education and relevant professional experience of at least 3 years.

- Experience in drafting project-related documentation, communication materials and reports;
- Experience with analysing and presenting data.
**Desirable**:
- Experience working in an international environment;
- Experience using project management tools and software.

- Knowledge of key concepts, tools, and methodologies used in project support work;
- Ability to analyse and present project-related data;
- Ability to prepare project reports and presentations.

**SELECTION PROCEDURE**
The Authority Authorised to Conclude Contracts of Employment (AACC) sets up a Selection Committee, composed of at least three members, consisting of one chair and at least one member from the Administration of Europol and one member designated by the Staff Committee.
The minimum pass-mark for being shortlisted, i.e. invited to participate in a post-related selection procedure, consisting of a written test and a competency-based interview, is established as 60% of the total maximum score.
