**Your Team**
The "Design Enablement EMC & Interference " group, located in Eindhoven, is part of the CTO organization. The technical scope of the “EMC & Interference” department within the group involves topics such as electromagnetic (EM) simulation for RF, EMC, on
- and off-chip coupling, and related mixed-signal design flows/methodologies.
**Project Description**
**Your Responsibilities**
- Structured assessment of new EM simulation tools for RF and mmWave designs of main vendors (Keysight, Ansys, Cadence)
- Major assessment criteria will be: accuracy, speed/capacity performance, design flow integration
- The assessment will be linked to representative NXP design test cases
- Flow automation activities will also be part of the assignment

**Your Profile**
- Master of Science
- Having a basic knowledge of IC and PCB design techniques
- Experience in Linux environment ‒ all our development tools are running on this platform
- Versioning/data-management tools
- Electromagnetic Simulation tool experience
- Good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation)
**Duration**
This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 2 years or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as post doc/ EngP/ PhD. Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
