Domain Architect Roles

**You'll be part of a close-knit team of architects, collaborating closely with all relevant stakeholders within the Roles & Mandates domain.** You'll also be a member of the Center of Expertise Architects at ING Domestic Bank Netherlands, where you'll occasionally work with global colleagues to ensure alignment across the organization. **Key Responsibilities**
As the Domain Architect, you will:
- Lead the Dutch Business and IT delivery teams in the design, coordination, and transition towards the target architecture.
- Define reference and transition architecture designs based on business requirements, guiding solution architects and engineers through the implementation process.
- Collaborate with business colleagues to understand and challenge requirements, working alongside Enterprise Architects, Platform Architects, other Domain Architects, IT Solutions Architects, IT managers, and Dev/Ops teams.
- Ensure the architecture is loosely coupled, scalable, and adaptable within an Agile Scrum framework, balancing feasibility with strategic goals.
- Proactively step beyond your domain to achieve broader organizational outcomes.

- Independence and self-motivation to design reference architectures and make dependencies clear for transitioning to the target landscape.
- Strong collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to co-creating with others across the organization.
- Decision-making skills based on limited information, using indirect influence and maintaining perseverance over the long term.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent experience, with excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Pattern recognition and the ability to connect current events with corporate strategy or long-term vision.
- Experience in anticipating Risk, Security, and Reliability requirements, embedding these considerations into architectural designs.
- Familiarity with agile development principles is highly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
**What we offer**:
- 36 hour work week
- Salary range: €5.996,00 - €9.583,00 based on experience
- Holiday pay and 13th month
- Full pension according to Dutch temp labour CLA
