Your aim as a Credit Controller is to ensure that customers pay on time, monitor and analyze customer behavior and take appropriate actions with the aim to minimize Bugaboo’s financial risk. You act within the boundaries as set by local rules and legislation, audit guidelines, inco terms and Bugaboo audit guidelines. You are part of the Finance team and report to the Credit Manager.
**What will you do**
- ** **Process deposits and credit card transactions.
- Match incoming payments and research short/unmatched payments, including chargebacks/deductions.
- Handle inquiries and complaints about incoming/unmatched payments.
- Monitor A/R ageing and maintain overdue % and Days Sales Outstanding per credit insurance policy.
- Assign receivables to third-party collection agencies when necessary.
- Track inquiries and complaints about outstanding invoices and coordinate with Operations and Sales for solutions.
- Monitor and analyze customer behavior.
- Propose and process insured credit limits and act on order blocks.
- Reconcile A/R sub-ledgers to general ledgers.
- Prepare credit control reports and assist in various projects.
**What you will bring to the table**
- ** **Knowledge of applicable local rules and regulations in credit collection
- Understanding of audit guidelines
- Financial acumen
- Strong negotiation skills
- Associate degree
- Manage customer setup and maintenance in compliance with internal and legal requirements for assigned countries.
- Conduct proactive/reactive analysis of irregularities (e.g., non-consumer orders, high-risk areas), fraud checking, and handling chargebacks.
You have fluent English language skills as Bugaboo is an international company.
You relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people and gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity.
