Supply Chain Internship

**Introduction**:
ASML sourcing is organized towards suppliers (accounts) with an Account Lead per supplier. A group of suppliers with similar capabilities or products is called Category. A group of Categories for a defined manufacturing area is called Cluster. This internship takes place in the category named Silicon Based Devices (SBD). SBD deals with suppliers with a fab or which are collaborating with a fab to deliver products to ASML manufactured in a fab (dies, MEMS, pellicles, reticles,...).
**Your assignment**:
ASML has a highly complex supply chain including many n-tier suppliers which may be pre-scribed by ASML or not. Only a few pre-scribed suppliers were directly managed by ASML with limited number of Account Leads and first-tier suppliers have limited control on others since those were pre-scribed by ASML.
This project aims to visualize all pre-scribed N-Tier suppliers in the MLP cluster to identify the risk of sustainable supply and COG reduction opportunities.
This is a bachelor / HBO or master apprentice internship for minimum 6 months (preferably 8 to 12 months) for minimum 3 days per week (2+ days on-site). The start date is of November 2024 onwards.
**Your profile**:
To be the perfect fit for this internship, you:
- Are studying Supply Chain Management or something related;
- Are highly motivated to work in the semi conductor domain;
- You have strong communication skills, are independent and have a pro-active attitude;
- Are proficient with the English language, both written and verbally;
**Other requirements you need to meet**:
- You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
- You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
- If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
