**Introduction**:
Within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P), the Logistical Supplier Managers are responsible for driving Logistics Management, Operational Performance and Logistics Capabilities to secure suppliers can successfully meet short, middle and long term demand.

Operational Performance is monitored and controlled by the Operational Supplier Management department. As a logistic interface between suppliers and the ASML Supply Chain, there is a need to keep internally closely connected to the operational interface. The Operational Supplier Coordinator supports the Logistical Supplier Manager by delivering data insights & advice in order to establish Operational Excellence.

The second dimension in SS&P is to enhance the Supplier base quality. Similar to the logistics interface, the quality interface is observing and improving the Supplier capabilities to deliver "first time right". Key elements for the achievement of this goal are "zero repeat" and finally "zero defect". To achieve these goals ASML drives the suppliers to understand the root causes of the observed deviations.

**Your assignment**:
During this internship, you will:

- Implement one source of truth on the "order to book" reliability;
- Recommend and implement a report-out framework on improvement initiatives and a follow-up or to track actions;
- Implement a structural way to report on operational performance;
- Act as right hand to the Logistical Supplier Manager regarding Operational Performance;
- Make the connections between the departments within Operational Excellence.

**Your profile**:
To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

- Are a master student in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, looking for an apprentice internship (non-thesis);
- Have a passion for quality, performance management and dealing with complexity;
- Have a can-do mentality, are eager to challenge the status quo and have a pro-active attitude;
- Enjoy multi-cultural settings and have good English language skills.

This is a master apprentice (non-thesis) internship for 4 - 5 days per week (2+ days on-site), for a minimum of 5 months up to 1 year. The start date is as soon as possible, with a start date in February 2025 the latest.

**Other requirements you need to meet**:

- You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
- You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
- If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
