Het Baken Almere is een stichting voor interconfessioneel onderwijs, waartoe onze vijf scholen behoren:

- Stad College Vakcollege
- Poort - school voor havo en mavo
- Park Lyceum mavo+, havo en atheneum
- Trinitas Gymnasium
- International School Almere
In de maatschappij wordt een discussie gevoerd over de rol van het onderwijs. De afgelopen jaren is er een brede maatschappelijke discussie op gang gekomen over de rol van het onderwijs. De landelijke vraag is: leiden wij alleen op voor een diploma of speelt het onderwijs een rol in de bredere ontwikkeling van de jongeren. Voor Het Baken Almere is dit geen vraag. Wij zijn een interconfessionele onderwijsorganisatie en wij zijn van mening dat een brede ontwikkeling van jonge mensen de kernopdracht is van ons onderwijs.

Leerlingen van nu zijn de burgers van morgen. Wij willen de leerlingen scholen in de competenties die nodig zijn om succesvol te kunnen zijn in een voortdurend veranderende samenleving, Daarnaast hebben wij vanuit onze missie de opdracht om leerlingen zich te laten ontwikkelen tot burgers die de waarden en normen van onze democratische samenleving, die gebaseerd is op de christelijk joodse traditie, zich intrinsiek eigen maken.

**Functieomschrijving**:

(Educational) Psychologist/ Special Education Generalist for a 0,6 FTE position as Temporary sick replacement

In this role, you will support students and parents by identifying their needs through intake, follow-up, and evaluation meetings. You will formulate support plans and individual educational plans, as well as seek or develop appropriate tools and resources for both the students and the teachers. Coaching students in their social and/or emotional development, particularly in relation to school performance, will be a key aspect of your role. Depending on the difficulties at hand, you will also develop and provide tailored training. Additionally, you will liaise with parents/guardians, external parties and participate in various consultations. You will collect information about (potential) SEN students that need to be discussed in the Zorg Advies Team meetings and you will chair these meetings and coordinate the support advice given in these meetings for our students and with the parents.

In supporting the teams, you will translate questions into concrete advice. You will share insights into trends you identify and advise on additional specialized support when necessary. Acting as a coach and advisor, you will assist teachers in implementing inclusive education practices and provide broad-ranging advice on student functioning. By offering workshops, and individual guidance on teaching approaches, and organizing training sessions, you will contribute to the professional development of teachers. You will also contribute to annual plans and reports related to the guidance process and ensure effective monitoring and planning.

**Wat wij vragen**:

- Has completed a university master's degree in (Educational )Psychology;
- Has theoretical and practical expertise in case management;
- Has experience / affinity working in an international environment;
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of the educational and school environment;
- Is familiar with educational programs, profiles, and systems within the school;
- Demonstrates strong communication and consultation skills with students and parents;
- Is fluent in English as well as Dutch;
- Is skilled in supporting, coaching, guiding, and advising colleagues;
- Has a process-oriented and solution orientated approach to case management;
- Is able to think outside the box.

The package will be commensurate with the responsibilities of the position and will include the following elements:

- Salary depending or previous experience and qualifications (based on the Dutch CAO VO)
