**DEPARTMENT**
WorkForce Development focuses on organizational learning, mainly for Operations and Maintenance employees to meet the needs of SABIC and all generations through effective and efficient training.
WorkForce Development is part of the department WorkForce Development and Continuous Improvement.
It consists a manager, one WFD Specialist, two CI Analysts, a Total Quality Engineer and two key-users.

**JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
As an intern you are engaged in shaping and maintaining a Professional Learning Community. This means that every employee is a learning professional and that training for Operations and Maintenance is designed in the most effective and efficient way. We are currently looking for uniformity within the learning landscape of SABIC Geleen and we want to connect with the latest developments and the new generations.
As an intern you will also work with a various of people on all plants. You’ll play an important role in the communication between Senior Managers and the employees. With your creativity and educational knowledge, you’re a star in communication with all sorts of people and you can analyze and execute our needs with your insights on how-to with the newest innovations you’ve learned. You’ll make it possible. You also support on translating the global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy from Saudi Arabia to the Netherlands. Overall, you’ll have a great impact on how people like to learn as effective and efficient as possible and contribute to organizational learning.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know Sabic as a company, also outside the department. We’ll give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. The place of employment is Geleen. SABIC has a Working from Home policy (1 to 2 days per week). This policy can be coordinated for the internship in consultation with your tutor at Sabic Geleen.
Most of our people like working at the office, because that’s where the action takes place. We’re in the office together at least two days a week to connect and inspire. You will be working with the WFD specialist who provides you all the guidance that you need.

**REQUIREMENTS**
You are a fulltime student at HBO/WO/master level like Learning and Development in Organizations, International Business, Educational Sciences or Business Administration and you recognize yourself in the following:

- A pragmatic person with a can-do and hands-on mentality;
- A collaboration partner with excellence communication skills;
- Works accurately;
- Flexible and being able to prioritize tasks/projects. Project management experience is beneficial;
- Customer focused and interested in stakeholder management. You have an international mindset;
- You speak and write Dutch like a native;
- You are curious and investigative;
- You think creatively in opportunities;
- You have good organizational sensitivity and a healthy dose of positivity and enthusiasm;
- You are able to connect with others easily and can adapt well in an international environment;
