Corbion’s Legal and Compliance Department acts as one team supporting Corbion regarding all types of legal and compliance matters. Corbion's Legal and Compliance Department currently consists of 10 professionals, located in the Netherlands, USA and Brazil.

You will be based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (with the possibility to work from home). You will report to the Company Secretary & VP Legal and Compliance (based in Amsterdam).

**About the job**

As a Corporate Paralegal, you perform a variety of tasks ranging from correspondence and filings with the regulators to corporate housekeeping and corporate governance. You will be working closely with the Company Secretary on supporting the Supervisory Board and on activities related to Corbion's listing at Euronext.

More specifically, you will perform the following tasks and responsibilities:

- Taking care of the corporate housekeeping of all Corbion legal entities worldwide (e.g. drafting board and shareholders resolutions, keeping (shareholders) registers up to date, filings with the Chamber of Commerce, contacts with external lawyers)
- Assisting the Company Secretary in communication with the global Supervisory Board (e.g. preparing annual meeting schedule, uploading meeting materials)
- Organizing, preparing, and keeping minutes of meetings of two committees of the global Supervisory Board (Audit Committee and Sustainability & Safety Committee)
- Assisting the Company Secretary in organizing, preparing, and keeping minutes of annual shareholders meetings (e.g. selecting venue, preparing agenda and convocation notice, publishing documents on website, contacts with external lawyers and bank)
- Making required filings to the AFM (e.g. trades in Corbion shares by Board of Management members)
- Being responsible for the Corbion Insider Trading Policy (e.g. maintaining register of insiders, sending letters to new insiders, communicating closed periods)
- Organizing, preparing, and keeping minutes of meetings of the Dutch Supervisory Board
- Supporting the Corbion Business Conduct Committee who investigates whistleblower reports (e.g. organizing, preparing, and keeping minutes of meetings, performing certain tasks in the whistleblower reports IT system)
- Being responsible for Corbion's authorized signatories worldwide (e.g. drafting powers of attorney, maintaining internal overview)
- Organizing and obtaining legalization of signatures/documents by civil law notaries
- Supporting Corbion colleagues worldwide with questions about the legal structure/companies

**About you**
- 7 years or more of working experience as a paralegal or other type of support role for lawyers / legal teams, preferably in a corporate (inhouse) legal department
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level through experience
- Knowledge of Dutch corporate law is an advantage
- Ability to connect and maintain good relations with various stakeholders at all levels
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Team player and self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Dutch
- Available for 32 - 40 hours per week (flexibility to work partly from home)
