Process Improvement Manager

BAM Group has developed and implemented the BAM-wide Tender Stage Gate Process and the associated Stage Gate System to reduce project risks arising from the tender phase and the risk of future losses in projects. This process and system supports the divisions and the Executive Board of Directors in selective and competitive tenders and in data-driven portfolio management. The Tender Assurance team is responsible for maintaining this process and we do this by continuously improving our Baseline, systems and Policies to safeguard reliable tendering and governance processes. We develop these processes by leading and activating the different expert groups and Tender Desks.
**What are you going to do**
As Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordination and supporting the creation and implementation of BAM Practices with the expert groups. You will continuously help the different expert groups and guide and assist them in their role by providing the communication channels, templates and uniform way of working as well as monitoring progress. You will maintain our tendering processes and templates, support our team members and play an active role in dashboarding and reporting to sr. leadership.
- Identify, plan, and implement necessary process updates;
- Assemble and lead expert groups, fostering engagement and purpose;
- Support expert groups in (re)writing BAM Practices where needed;
- Maintain and enhance BAM Connect Tender support pages for tender teams;
- Oversee all Tender Assurance processes and manage interdependencies;
- Collaborate on CRM improvements and contribute to KPI development and quality monitoring.
**Your working environment**
Working closely with the Tender Assurance Director, you provide crucial input for our Stage Gate process. As part of a 5-person Tender Assurance team, you help implement our work-winning policy across BAM and all tenders. This position is based in Bunnik, The Netherlands. At BAM, we offer a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. Occasional travel to the United Kingdom is also required.

- A salary between € 4.700;
- and € 5.880;
- gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour working week and excludes 8% holiday pay;
- Good secondary employment conditions in accordance with the Construction and Infrastructure collective labor agreement, such as a budget for sustainable employability (2,18%), variable compensation, 25 vacation days, 15 schedule free days and 3 short-term absenteeism days per calendar year;
- Reimbursement of your travel costs (100% public transport or a kilometer allowance), laptop and iPhone;

**Who are we looking for?**
For this position, we are looking for a person who can develop an inspiring vision and has a strong drive to further develop the Tender Assurance role. - You have a completed university (BSC/Master) degree;
- You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of tendering, business or project management processes;
- You have experience with the development and implementation of (tender) processes and related business controls;
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbal;
- You have elementary Power BI skills and/or are willing to learn.
