**As a Buying Assistant at Suitsupply, you will support the buying team in managing supplier communications, maintaining system data, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of purchase orders. You will handle administrative responsibilities critical to the smooth operation of the buying process, such as tracking product orders, managing compliance documentation, and collaborating with suppliers to meet key deadlines. Your role will be essential to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our product lifecycle, directly contributing to the success of a global, fast-paced menswear brand.**:
**What you will do**:

- Process and update purchase orders in our system, ensuring data accuracy and timely communication with suppliers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to track shipments, request and verify shipping documents, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist the buying team by managing compliance documentation, including certifications and audit reports, and tracking expiration dates.
- Monitor and update carbon footprint reporting and coordinate recycling pickups in alignment with sustainability goals.
- Communicate with stores and suppliers to address questions, plan audits, and support Corrective Action Plan (CAP) follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of product and supplier information, supporting the team with reporting and analytics.

**Who you are**:

- You have a strong background in administrative roles, ideally within a purchasing or buying team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring data and documentation accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to supplier interaction.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to handle and interpret data for reporting purposes.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
