**Role Snapshot**:
As Assistant Hostel Manager, you will support the Hostel Manager in the day-to-day running of both Clinkcoco and Clinkmama Hostels, Amsterdam. Your primary focus will be to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience when they stay with us and our team are skilled and motivated a memorable guest experience. You'll foster a vibrant atmosphere that aligns with our brand, support our team, and help create a positive and engaging environment for both guests and staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Guest Experience: Oversee the guest experience, address maintenance and health & safety issues, maintain stock controls, and identify revenue generation opportunities. Organize events to enhance the social vibe.
- Operational Support: Assist the Hostel Manager in running both hostels
- Collaboration: Work with other departments on bookings, guest requests, events, marketing, and more.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure the hostel's atmosphere reflects our brand and meets the needs of our guests.
- Team Engagement: Promote a positive work environment, ensuring our team understand and embody our culture and values.
**Who Are You?**
You are someone who is all about delivering a memorable guest experiences, have strong interpersonal skills, and are proactive and adaptable. You thrive under pressure, can work independently, and bring energy and fun to your role. A passion for travel and the hospitality industry is essential, and while Dutch language skills are advantageous, they are not required. We are looking for someone who has minimum years experience working in a leadership role in hospitality
