**About the Role**:
The Landscape Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting landscape finance mobilization efforts, including private and public investment, integrating landscape finance into landscape development processes, engaging in influencing and advocacy activities, and supporting ongoing partnerships and coalitions.

This position is part of the Landscape Finance team and reports to the Landscape Finance Manager and collaborates with other colleagues in the Landscape Finance team. And, of course also with other teams, like Landscape Development, Communications & Fundraising and Impact & Research.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Support landscape finance activities with landscape partners**
- Work with landscape partners to identify and map opportunities contributing to landscape restoration efforts, including across grants, public and private funding, and payments for ecosystem services schemes.
- Support continuous development of landscape finance tools and resources.
- ** Investment Opportunity Development**:

- Lead the aggregation of identified interventions and conduct analyses of key challenges and opportunities within and across landscapes.
- Assist in the analysis of (blended) finance mechanisms suitable to the unique contexts of each landscape.
- Provide business and project development support.
- ** Mapping of underlying interventions across landscapes and potential investors**
- Support the development of a database mapping interventions within and across landscapes (and analysis of major findings).
- Identify, map, and connect with potential investors and funders.
- ** Coordination**
- Project management of landscape finance activities internally and towards partners and coalitions.

- Temporary contract of 8-12 months with possibility of extension.
- Salary range between EUR 2750 - 3250 depending on your level of work experience.

**Your skills and qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of relevant international experience in finance, international development, or consulting, preferably overlapping with agriculture, sustainability, and ecology.
- Ability to analyze businesses and projects from both ecological and social perspectives to mobilise financial instruments to fund long term landscape restoration.
- Experience with financial modelling and communicating information in a simple way (for instance, using dashboards).
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with fundraising and in particular working with investors is a big plus.
- A passion for nature conservation and sustainable development.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excel proficiency.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Located in the Netherlands and also eligible to work in the Netherlands.
