**Who We Are**

We are Rotate. We help airlines and airports make better commercial and strategic decisions about air cargo and provide (strategy) consulting, world-leading market data and software products. We’re based in the Netherlands and founded by a core of former aviation strategy consultants in 2022. We have built a growing team of 20+ people consisting of strategy consultants, data scientists and software developers. Demand for our services is overwhelming, so we are constantly searching for new talent.

We want to build and do things that matter. We are passionate about our industry and believe there is huge potential to turn data into action and create real and practical solutions and strategies.

**What you’ll do**

You will join a young and entrepreneurial company and are part of a unique, experienced, and well-connected team. You will help define the strategic and commercial direction of airlines, airports, and other industry players.

You will lead the day-to-day delivery of our consulting projects and you will be mentoring and developing our junior consultants. You will work directly with our clients, and will make key contributions to our client solutions, often in collaboration with our data scientists and developers

You will get the opportunity to shape the consulting team, become an expert in a key international industry, and build a strong industry network.

Engagements may range from advising airlines on their optimal future fleet & network, figuring out commercial synergies of a partnership between airlines to helping the Head of Cargo Pricing design a holistic approach to long-term and spot pricing. Your key responsibilities will always include the following:

- Execution of strategy engagements with air cargo airlines and other key industry players.
- Structuring complex airline questions into manageable workstreams, with well-defined timelines and deliverables
- Leading project teams of 2 to 3 consultants, and mentoring and training a growing strategy consulting team
- Being a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders
- Bringing the best of Rotate to our clients in close collaboration with our software and analytics teams

**What you’ll need**

We are looking for an experienced strategy consultant to manage client engagements at (cargo) airlines and airports. You’re excited by the idea of helping us take Rotate to the next level, and the following describes you well:

- 5 or more years of professional experience in strategy consulting, at least 1-2 of which as a manager
- You enjoy mentoring and training young analysts and consultants
- A track record of working on complex problems, combining analytics and quantitative problem-solving skills
- An affinity for aviation, air cargo, transportation, logistics, or a related industry
- You enjoy working in cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams, with people at all levels
- You are willing to travel to diverse destinations on projects
- An undergraduate or master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field
- You are fluent in English. Other languages are a great plus.

**Where is the position located?**

We have chosen to be based in Utrecht within walking distance from the Central Station. We find value in being together as we collaborate to build exciting new products while offering flexibility to accommodate different ways of working. In this role, you will travel globally for assignments.
