**About Carbon Equity**

Carbon Equity is a pioneering climate tech venture capital and private equity fund investment platform. Our mission is to unlock private capital at the scale of billions to help solve the world’s greatest challenges, starting with climate change. **The Role & Responsibilities**

As the Founder’s Associate Intern, you will have a unique opportunity to work directly with our CEO, Jacqueline van den Ende, and our COO Lara Koole, and play an integral role in supporting her day-to-day activities as well as operational projects in Carbon Equity. This is a dynamic role that combines administrative support with strategic involvement in shareholder communications, board meeting preparation, and operational execution.

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Supervisory Board and Shareholder Relations: Prepare reports, presentations, and documents for shareholder communications and supervisory board meetings. You’ll ensure that all materials are well-prepared, and delivered on time.
- Operational & Strategic Support: Aid in operational and strategic assignments including research, document drafting, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and drive initiatives that improve the efficiency of how we work at Carbon Equity.
- Administrative Duties: A portion of your time will involve handling administrative tasks such as inbox management, organizing documents, and preparing meeting agendas.

- Proactive and entrepreneurial in your approach to problem-solving, and not afraid to take initiative when something needs attention.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to express ideas and structure thoughts clearly and in a professional manner.
- You’re a quick and eager learner with a passion for climate tech and sustainability. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and are ready to adapt as priorities shift.
- Reliable and responsible, you keep deadlines and feel ownership over your tasks.
- You enjoy collaborating with people across different teams and functions, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Creative and confident in preparing presentations and reports, with a keen eye for detail and clarity in communication.

**Your Qualifications**:

- Work experience ideally in business development, project management, or communications
- You are a student or recent graduate available for a 6-month internship (fixed-term).
- Strong command of English (near-native level) and outstanding communication skills, proficiency in Dutch or German is a plus
- You have a demonstrated passion for sustainability/climate tech
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other tools such as Notion or HubSpot.
- You are based within commuting distance from Amsterdam and have permission to work in the Netherlands.
