**Information about the position**:
In the Trust & Safety domain we combine code, data and ML, design, human activities, and policies to protect Vinted sellers and buyers from harm, build defences against risk and enable safe growth for the platform.

Trust is a fundamental currency in Vinted, underpinning interactions across the entire customer journey. To this end, Trust & Safety domain is tasked with overseeing topics such as account integrity, detecting fake and fraudulent accounts, moderating counterfeit content, but also posing recommendations to other Product domains around improving the safety of overall member experience.

You will be collaborating closely with all of the teams in the domain, Legal Unit and our Content moderators teams. You will get to lead the effort to have an effective policy. It should clearly state what is allowed to be sold on Vinted and what type of violations would lead to different types of sanctioning.

**In this position, you'll**:

- Develop a unified approach and a framework for all detection and sanctioning policies at Vinted across Product, Operations and Legal
- Ensure policy compliance with existing and new legislation, balancing sanction proportionality with effectiveness
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for new policies or adjustments to existing ones
- Drive process optimization for policy implementation
- Support discovery and be the point of contact for sanctioning initiatives led by Product Managers
- Represent Vinted in conversations regarding detection and sanctioning policies with authorities and legislative bodies

**About you**:

- Have worked in Policy Management or related field (Legal Product Partner, Product Compliance etc) before
- Able to deal with ambiguity, breaking down complex, multi-sided product problems to deliver simple solutions
- A clear communicator, both in written and spoken form,
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscape and how it pertains to marketplaces, social media platforms or VLOPS (GDPR, DSA, DMA)
- Bonus points: Experience within fraud, other Trust & Safety functions, marketplace moderation processes
