The role is part of our corporate procurement team, which is DHL’s central point of procurement for goods and services. And we are looking for newly established Head of Procurement in Benelux, to implement Procurement as a process.

The purpose of this role is to provide and implement strategic directions at the sub-regional level and ensure healthy cooperation with global categories. Sharing and recommending “best in class” suppliers and maintaining successful relationships with them.

What takes to be successful in this role?
- 8yrs of specialization in strategic sourcing of goods and transport capacities to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business or function in scope.
- Analytical mindset to support business decisions in investments, budgets, and the establishment of sub-regional frame contracts.
- Expertise in managing supplier relations and identifying strategic sourcing strategies.
- Excellent at stakeholder engagement and people management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, along with demonstrated leadership acumen.
- Good communication skills, especially with senior management
- Energetic and self-driven.
