To make this possible we would like to bring on board an enthusiastic and mature professional for a role of Group Director Financial Risk Management.

**Profile**:
**How you will make a difference**

As the Group Director Financial Risk Management, you will help us to ‘finance change to change finance’, by overseeing and managing all financial risks that the bank faces, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk and interest rate risk. This role is critical in ensuring that the bank’s financial risk profile aligns with its strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. The Group Director will lead the development and implementation of financial risk strategies, policies, and frameworks to safeguard the bank’s financial stability and optimize risk-adjusted returns.

Regarding our** Leadership & Strategic direction **you will:

- Live our One Bank way of working through active cross-functional collaboration and alignment of activities across the Group, ensuring that all efforts contribute to Triodos' positive impact on society.
- Be an inspiring leader by role modelling the Triodos Behaviors and hence activating the bank’s mission and values.
- Lead the functional area group-wide, ensuring effective management, planning, coordination, and control, all while adhering to the Triodos policies and procedures.
- Establish a clear strategic plan for the Group functional area, ensuring its execution aligns with the bank’s overarching goals and driving the realization of key objectives.

Regarding **Credit Risk Management, **you will**:

- Oversee the assessment and management of credit risks across all portfolios, ensuring robust risk models and controls are in place.
- Monitor portfolio quality, implement risk mitigation strategies, and manage problem loans to minimize credit losses (special asset management).

For the** Market and Interest Rate Risk Management, **you will**:

- Assess market risks, including foreign exchange risk related to investment activities, ensuring compliance with established limits and controls.
- Assess interest rate risk in the banking book, advising on strategies to mitigate adverse impacts on profitability and capital.

For the** Liquidity Risk Management, **you will**:

- Ensure the bank maintains adequate liquidity to meet obligations.

Regarding the** Risk policy and procedure creation and management, **you will**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures covering credit, market, liquidity, and interest rate risks.

Furthermore, it is expected that you will have:

- extensive experience in the full spectrum of Financial Risk Management
- strong advising & challenging skills towards the CRO, CFO and other members of the Executive and Supervisory Boards
- proven experience in a similar, senior leadership role (at least 8-10 years of management experience)
- strong understanding of regulatory requirements and other banking related matters

**Your future colleagues**

You will be reporting directly to the CRO and be a member of the Triodos Risk & Compliance leadership team. In addition, you will also be a member of the Credit and Asset & Liability Committees. As the Group Director Financial Risk Management, you will also be part of the broader Triodos Bank senior leadership community.

In the position of Group Director Financial Risk Management, you will directly lead the team of 8 professionals and in total lead the whole FRM function of around 30 co-workers.
