**Introduction to the job**:
Do you aspire a position in which your data-driven insights are used to drive business decisions? At ASML the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) department creates value from data, by generating insights and industrializing models on different topics. This helps prioritize business initiatives and to initiate change.

**Role and responsibilities**:
Within the BI&A department, the Insight Generation workstream focusing on Manufacturing topics is looking for a Business Analyst.

As a business analyst you will:

- generate business insights by translating data into visuals, reports and dashboards;
- support in formulating problem statement and performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns;
- interact with technical and non-technical (cross-sector) stakeholders and be able to present and explain analytical problems, approach, results and recommendations.

**Education and experience**:

- Master’s degree with a significant quantitative focus is a must. We prefer a background in Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics or Engineering with affinity with business management, or a background in Finance or Business Management with a strong affinity with analytics;

We are looking for high potential business analysts who are willing to learn and challenge themselves We consider the following experience as a plus, but not essential since drive and passion are key:

- experience with data analysis and analytics tools and techniques.
- experience with Alteryx, Spotfire and/or Python.
- business sensitivity and ability to make the step from theoretical models to creating business impact.

***Distributed Analytics Network**:
This job position is part of the Distributed Analytics Network (DAN, a network consisting of analytics entities (called Analytics ‘Nodes’) throughout the different sectors at ASML. The main objective of the DAN network is to create an aligned way of working across the organization, to bring our ASML’s analytics capabilities to the next level. Being part of DAN gives you exposure to multiple teams and parts of our organization and unlocks wide growth opportunities for all our members.
