**Introduction to the job**:
Do you aspire a position in which your data-driven insights are used to drive business decisions? At ASML the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) team creates value from data, by generating insights and industrializing models on different topics across sectors and business lines (BL’s).

**Role and responsibilities**:
As a business analyst you will be part of the Planning, Procurement & Supply Chain insight generation workstream, where you will be working on a diverse portfolio of projects related to bottom
- and top-line improvements. In this role, you will closely collaborate with stakeholders from the Business Line DUV & EUV, Reuse & Repair sector, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement sector, Planning and Delivery sector, Global Manufacturing Team, etc. Projects are focused on business priorities, such as data driven insights to support cost reductions via sourcing and planning or improving re-use processes.

Furthermore you will:

- generate business insights by translating data into visuals, reports and dashboard;.
- support in formulating problem statement and performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns;
- interact with technical and non-technical (cross-sector) stakeholders and be able to present and explain analytical problems, approach, results and recommendations.

**Education and experience**:

- A Master’s degree with a substantial quantitative focus is a must. We prefer a background in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Econometrics with a strong affinity with business management and analytics or Business Management, Finance or Economics.

We are looking for a high potential business analyst who is willing to learn and challenge him-/herself in addition to the following:

- experience with data analysis and analytics tools and techniques;
- business sensitivity and ability to make the step from theoretical models to creating business impact;
- experience with Alteryx, Spotfire and/or Python (are considered as a plus).

**Distributed Analytics Network**
This job position is part of the Distributed Analytics Network (DAN, a network consisting of analytics entities (called Analytics ‘Nodes’) throughout the different sectors at ASML. The main objective of the DAN network is to create an aligned way of working across the organization, to bring our ASML’s analytics capabilities to the next level. Being part of DAN gives you exposure to multiple teams and parts of our organization and unlocks wide growth opportunities for all our members.
