**Over de functie**:
The Business Development & Retention department focuses on expanding and strengthening our portfolio of parks by attracting new locations and retaining existing Landal parks in our updated structure.
Within our portfolio, we work closely with developing partners, investors and Homeowners’ Associations (VvE’s) to maximize the commercial potential for all stakeholders involved. For new parks, we are responsible to manage the process of adding new parks to our portfolio. Typically the Business Development process starts with the first contact with a potential developer and ends with handing over a park to a Homeowners’ Association under the guidance of our Operations department.
Our goal is to deliver great, commercially viable and fully operational parks throughout Europe. In your role as Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in gathering and organizing everything needed to smoothly and fully integrate such (new) parks into our systems.

Together with the team (5 Development Coordinators and 5 Business Development Managers), you’ll ensure the retention of existing Landal parks and the onboarding of new parks. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, and Park Positioning & Innovation, and support Business Development managers in drafting various legal documents, agreements, offer letters, and presentations.
Additionally, you’ll act as the point of contact for external partners - from investors and developers to VvE’s and local authorities - guiding them through the entire process.
You are responsible for:
- Preparing documents and presentations: You draft decision papers, letters of intent, offer letters, and presentations for investors using existing templates. Additionally, you prepare various agreements and monitor their expiration dates, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. You also keep the entire process on track, monitoring deadlines and key dates.
- Drafting and managing agreements: You prepare contracts using templates and handle contract renewals. You also oversee permits and legal aspects to ensure everything is in line with regulations, making sure contracts are up-to-date and meet all requirements.
- Tracking contract end dates and renewals: You closely monitor contract end dates and make sure renewals (including offers) are arranged on time.
- Maintaining internal and external contacts: You facilitate effective communication with internal teams and external partners, including investors, developers, municipalities, and Homeowners’ Associations (VvE’s).
- Planning and organization: You maintain oversight, organize tasks, and closely monitor deadlines. Additionally, you proactively identify potential bottlenecks and address them in a timely manner to ensure a smooth process.
- Operational coordination for new parks: You assist with onboarding new franchise parks, ensuring all required information is collected and working with internal stakeholders (commercial and operational onboarding team) to ensure a smooth launch.
In this role, you report to Hilco de Lathouder, Director of Business Development & Retention.
Starting January 2025, your work location will be our new office on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam. Working from home is, of course, possible, but we prefer you to work in the office at least three days a week. On Tuesdays, the entire Development team meets in the Amsterdam office.

Furthermore, you bring:
- Bachelor's level of working and thinking (HBO level) preferably in fields such as Commercial Economics, Hospitality Management, Tourism and Recreation, or Communication.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in a legal or commercial support role, such as paralegal, projectcoordinator or office manager with a legal affinity.
- Excellent command of German and English (both spoken and written).
- Experience with tools or systems, such as MS Office and CRM systems.
