**Wat ga je doen;**

Als surveyor voert u zelfstandig inspecties uit aan zowel nieuwbouw als bestaande schepen op naleving van Lloyd's Register Rules and Regulations en geldende wettelijke voorschriften. De inspecties hebben betrekking op veiligheid, milieu, machinebouw en scheepsbouw. Het is een veelzijdige en afwisselende baan en je bent vaak het eerste aanspreekpunt tussen scheepseigenaren, scheepswerven en onderdelenleveranciers. Je werkt projectmatig op nieuwbouwprojecten en ad-hoc voor bestaande schepen. Flexibiliteit is vereist en daarom is er ruimte om je eigen tijd in te delen. Ondanks je zelfstandigheid maak je deel uit van een team van specialisten die er voor elkaar zijn. Je helpt elkaar met technisch advies en expertise; je leert van elkaar.

**Wat zoeken wij**:

- Bachelor/Master, HBO/HTS elektrotechniek, werktuigbouwkunde, scheepsbouwkunde of hogere zeevaartschool
- Andere kwalificaties/ervaring kunnen van geval tot geval worden overwogen
- Praktijkervaring met betrekking tot de binnenvaart/zeevaart; bij voorkeur mínimaal 5 jaar ervaring met inspectiewerkzaamheden in de binnenvaart
- Kennis van ADN/ESTRIN is een pre.
- Communicatief vaardig, klantgericht, analytisch, eerlijk, verantwoordelijk, zelfstandig, flexibel
- Goede beheersing van de nederlandse en engelse taal is noodzakelijk. Kennis van de Duitse taal is een pre.
