Global Strategic Raw Material Planner

**About the job**

In this position, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic third-party Sourcing. You will oversee the strategic planning and management of raw materials across our global supply chain. You will collaborate with our manufacturing plants and internal teams such as supply chain, R&D, logistics, and finance to coordinate raw material planning activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. With your knowledge of Excel and Power BI, you will be analyzing supply chain data, forecasting demand, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.

**In addition, your tasks will include**:

- Developing and executing strategic plans for the procurement and management of raw materials to ensure optimal inventory levels and uninterrupted supply chain operations
- Supporting the design and maintenance of dashboards to track key performance indicators, monitor inventory levels, analyze supplier performance, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborating with suppliers globally to support the negotiation of contracts, monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives

**What we expect from you in terms of**

**Education, skills & knowledge**
- A bachelor's or master’s degree in procurement, supply chain, business administration, economics, or similar fields of relevance
- Knowledge with Excel (macro) and Power BI
- Basic knowledge of the refractory industry

**Languages**
- English - Proficient/Fluent
- Any other language would be an asset

**Work Experience**
- Few years of experience in supply chain
